Working with local organisations we come across situations where learning materials are lacking for children, as well as for adults who need to train for new skills.

We have supported volunteers making tables and benches, we provided blackboards and chalk, paper, pens, pencils, colouring and educational books.

We help build and repair desks or any other equipment that we have the ability to fix.

TIAFI set up Play a Day free service to children aged 4 to 6 years old. Here they play, draw, sing, learn how to be with other children in a group and enjoy warm healthy lunches.

Many refugee and Turkish women need to work to support their families, but a shortage of affordable daycare facilities restricts their chances of finding employment.
